HYDRODYNAMIC SURFACE SELECTIONS FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE IN PLANING POWER BOAT APPLICATIONS
The background and hydrodynamic considerations relating to the optimization of a planing surface are analyzed. A graphic approach is proposed and recommendations are given for collection of data necessary to make optimization practical.
