AN ANALYSIS OF THE PUBLIC INFORMATION AND EDUCATION COUNTERMEASURE: 1975

The report describes the activities and accomplishments of the Public Information and Education program operated by the Los Angeles County Alcohol Safety Action Project (ASAP). During 1975 ASAP released its second-phase public service announcements. The Impact of this unique campaign is discussed and the surveys used to evaluate the total campaign are presented. Results of these studies showed significant changes in awareness of the problem of drinking and driving.
