MAN AND TECHNOLOGY IN ROAD TRAFFIC - HARMONY OR OPPOSITION?

COVJEK I TEHNIKA U PROMETU NA CESTAMA - SKLAD ILI SUPROTNOST

In the article the contrast between the natural behaviour pattern of a man and modern technology is presented. It is possible to master this disharmony in road traffic but only by training. In an accident the direct traffic participant is nearly always the accused one but rarely the only one responsible, and the responsibility of people who are indirectly connected with traffic is stressed. To avoid accidents it is necessary to reconcile the psycho-physical system of a motor vehicle driver with modern technology in order to avoid all the conditions which can cause the road users to err at a certain moment. /TRRL/
