NO NEED FOR REFORM OF LAW REGARDING THE WITHDRAWAL OF DRIVING LICENCES AND DRIVING BANS

KEINE REFORMBEDUERFTIGKEIT VON FAHRERLAUBNISENTZIEHUNG UND FAHRVERBOT

The thesis regarding new regulations for the withdrawal of driving licences which was presented by Himmelrich and Koch to the German Traffic Law Conference 1977, is critically examined. The author explains the reasons for a change from the withdrawal of driving licence to a straightforward driving ban. These reasons are both materially lawful and also natural from the legal proceeding viewpoint. The possibility of further training of recidivist bad drivers is considered worthy of discussion. /TRRL/
