Energy Transportation Corporation has completed its first year delivering liquefied natural gas as part of a major international venture, the largest single LNG project in the world. When the project is in full operation early in 1980, ETC's vessels will be transporting 7.5 million tons of LNG annually. To date, the three ships have completed 44 round trips at an average speed of about 19 one-half knots. As of September 1st, 1978, approximately 2.3 million tons of LNG have been delivered to Japan by these vessels.
