SEASONAL VARIATIONS IN PAVEMENT SKID RESISTANCE....ARE THESE REAL?

The author states that skid test data from various sources have confirmed that the variability in skid testing has a mean standard deviation of 2 skid numbers (SN) or better. Using this estimate and assuming that pavement skid resistance, as measured by mean skid numbers is normally distributed, the conclusions have been drawn and are discussed. /EI/
