COMPUTATION OF SHROUDED AND UNSHROUDED PROPELLERS WITH THE AID OF FORMULAS OBTAINED FROM DIAGRAMS OF SYSTEMATIC MODEL

Formulas for calculating conventional propellers were obtained from diagrams of four-blade propellers of the troost series with a disc ration with allowance for corrections. Diagrams for four-blade propellers with symmetrical blades widened at the tips and a disc ratio of theta = 0.58 operated in shrouds were used to calculate shrouded propellers. The procedure of calculations using the obtained formulas is given. ( Author )
