Symposium on the Fundamental Diagram: 75 Years (Greenshields 75 Symposium), July 8-10, 2008, Woods Hole, MA. Preprints
The Transportation Research Board (TRB) held a symposium in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, on July 8-10, 2008 on the Greenshields fundamental diagram. The symposium, which was held in conjunction with the summer meeting of TRB's Traffic Flow Theory and Characteristics Committee, explores the historical appreciation of traffic flow theory founders, recent developments and their influence on current practice, the impact of technological developments such as real-time measurements and remote sensing, and more. This CD-ROM contains preprints for 18 of the 26 symposium presentations. For some presentations only an abstract was available.
