Business jets are now routinely fited with airline-standard navigation and communication packages, weather radars, radar altimeters and autopilots. In an effort to analyze the extent to which new technology is being introduced into the avionics market, and also establish the size of its various segments, 5 major U.S. companies were interviewed. The comments of these companies (Cessna/ARC Division, Bendix, Collins, King, and Narco) are included.
