TIME- AND STRESS-COMPRESSIBILITY INTERRELATIONSHIP

The closure of the discussion examines the critical issues brought up by discussers and an attempt is made to clarify the questions raised. A series of 10 one-dimensional consolidation tests on undisturbed samples of Brown Mexico City clay is described. Comments are made on the possible dependence of C sub alpha on load-increment ratio delta sigma/sigma; and on the definition of critical pressure. The measurement of C sub alpha is also discussed.
