The third volume in a series on concrete member design and technology is concerned with the stability of single columns and frames consisting of columns and beams for which design procedures are required. The following sections discuss design aspects in detail: (1) buckling limit state-fundamentals; (2) detailed procedures for columns; (3) particular problems; (4) frame analysis; and, (5) design of slender structures according to the model column method. Appendices cover the finite difference method of analysis; a computer program for the model column method; moment capacity tables and diagrams; and, coefficients defining the value and position of the parabola-rectangle compression diagram. /TRRL/
