Arch Bridge Seismic Response Analysis
An analysis of the seismic response characteristics and seismic performance of an arch concrete bridge is presented. Nonlinear analysis using a 3-D analytical model was carried out taking into account 18 modified ground motions. Linear analysis was applied to observe the dynamic response characteristics for the arch bridge after installation of dampers. Lastly, the damper location effect on the bridge seismic response was examined using a linear analysis.
