MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION FOR PROMOTING THE USE OF PARATRANSIT

Before paratransit organizations can develop, it is necessary to demonstrate their capabilities to the community. This paper presents a strategy for implementing various paratransit services and integrating these services into the community. It also presents some of the philosophical issues on which paratransit programs may be structured. Finally, it suggests an organizational structure that can be used to promote these concepts and appropriate funding levels. /Author/
