DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM FOR PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT

This paper describes the development of a computerized system called PAVER for use in the management of pavement maintenance and repair. Included are problems encountered in developing PAVER, characteristics of a successful computerized system determined through experience gained from field tests, system description and user procedures, and a discussion of system benefits and initiation and operation costs. /Author/
