Airline alliance service quality performance--An analysis of US and EU member airlines

With the onset of extended open sky policies, incumbent airline alliances on long-haul routes are set to face stiff competition from emerging low-cost carriers. The paper analyses the service quality of EU and US members of the main airline alliances.
