AIRCRAFT PAVEMENT LOADING: STATIC AND DYNAMIC

The subject of pavement loading by aircraft is treated by presenting a series of tables and figures designed to cover the essentials of pavement loading through the various phases of aircraft operation. The phases include static, slow taxi, steady-state turns at various speeds and turn radii, takeoff roll, roughness, landing impact, and braking. Figures and tables that present DC-8 responses at a number of international airports are also included. /Author/
