Airport, airline, and border agency management at Honolulu Airport have cooperated in a project to develop a computer simulation of aircraft arrivals and passenger processing in the international arrivals building. The goals of the simulation model are to: plan and design adequate facilities in future years, mediate the tradeoff between costs and passenger service; and ensure available resources are efficienty utilized.
