OF THE TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM IN METROPOLITAN EXPRESSWAY

Thirty-six years have passed since the first traffic control system of Metropolitan Expressway was introduced in 1970. The technical changes of computer, network, etc. are remarkable in this period. A new technology is introduced as a platform according to the age, the original technology is designed, and an optimal system has been constructed in Metropolitan Expressway. Original technology introduced according to the age is explained, and the technological trend of the latest traffic control system and the algorithm in the information processing is described.
