DESIGN OF CONCRETE STRUCTURES FOR SERVICEABILITY. SYDNEY, 1978. PAPERS

The papers in this publication were presented at a two day course conducted by the Concrete Institute of Australia and the University of New South Wales, and generally review the behaviour of concrete members and structures under normal service load conditions, with particular emphasis on the long term effects of creep and shrinkage. Practical methods for calculating crack widths and deflections have been considered, together with indirect design techniques for crack width control and deflection control. Effective methods of reinforcement detailing of cladding and other non-structural components are also covered. /TRRL/
