AN ANALYSIS OF ASAP (ALCOHOL SAFETY ACTION PROJECT) ACTIVITY IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA FROM JANUARY 1972-DECEMBER 1974. SECTION II, VOLUME 3
The report examines the degree to which the five objectives of deploying ASAP police patrols set forth in Columbus ASAP's Detailed Operational Plan have been accomplished, and also considers the catalytic impact of the Enforcement Countermeasure Activity Area. As a backdrop against which to assess attainment of these objectives, it provides a description of how the ASAP patrol unit operated. It also considers the effects of some non-ASAP forces on the achievement of these objectives.
