Resilient Modulus and Permanent Deformation Test for Unbound Materials
This manual describes procedures for preparing and testing unbound materials, including cohesive and granular materials, for the determination of the resilient modulus (Mr) and permanent deformation response. Samples are to be tested under conditions prevailing in the road layer in which the evaluated material is located. These conditions include density and moisture state as well as the level of traffic-induced stress estimated for the layer under consideration.
