Sheet Feed
This article provides some examples of very recent technologies that may be used to view travel information. One such technology is a type of electronic paper display (EPD) used to download and store information in a highly portable, but easily readable display. Another notable product in a similar category is a cellular phone with a segmented display that renders textual information without the used of a liquid crystal display (LCD). Other products are described that make use of highly flexible display screens so as to be rolled up for ease of carrying. In the U.S., some companies are already speculating on the use of these highly portable electronic text displaying systems for applications in disseminating information for public transit.
