Advanced Inspection System of Tunnel Wall Deformation using Image Processing
This paper describes an efficient tunnel scanner that features a line sensor camera capable of taking high precision panoramic images of the surface of a tunnel lining. The system uses image processing to remove image fluctuations, and also uses an image processing algorithm for extracting deformations such as cracks from tunnel wall images.
