CONTRIBUTION TO THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE CHEMICAL RESISTANCE OF CEMENT MEASURED WITH THE METHOD CONSISTING IN IMMERSING MICROPRISMS IN AN AGGRESSIVE SOLUTION

CONTRIBUTION A L'ETUDE EXPERIMENTALE DE LA RESISTANCE CHIMIQUE DES CIMENTS MESUREE SELON LA METHODE D'IMMERSION DE MICROPRISMES EN SOLUTION AGRESSIVE

The author measured the chemical resistance of cement with three different methods: The Chatelier-Anstett, the ASTM and The MIN (Method of Immersion of Microprisms) methods. The results obtained with the first two methods have already been published. This study gives the results reached with the third method. Details are given of the latter and of the measurement of the variation in the chemical resistance of portland cement as a function of its c3a content, and of blast-furnace slag cement as a function of their slag content. The results obtained with the three methods are in good agreement. /TRRL/
