Safety in numbers: a strategy for cycling
This paper reports on research undertaken in Adelaide, South Australia where the authors examined the relationship between cyclist volumes and cyclist crashes at different spatial scales: road, intersection and local government area. The first section provides an overview of the data and method of analysis followed by a report of the findings. In the final section, we discuss the findings and comment on their implications for policy and further research. (a) For the covering entry of this conference, please see ITRD abstract no. E214666.
