Problems on Mobility and Transport for Elderly and Disabled Persons in the Federal Republic of Germany
This paper describes how, as far as the Federal Republic of Germany is concerned, this conference is the first time that comprehensive, well-founded data have become available concerning the numbers and situations for the mobility of handicapped persons. Thus an important information gap in the area of planning for the handicapped has finally been closed and it is now possible to demonstrate and quantitatively to collaborate substantial effects of the handicap on the management of the day-to-day course of life for handicapped.
