Maximizing Pavement Repair
Pavement repair can be a lucrative addition to a contractor's services. This article provides eleven tips on how contractors can improve their pavement repair business. According to these recommendations, contractors should: encourage timely maintenance; know the plans for each customer; sell services as what they are; seal cracks; offer remove-and-replace patching as an option; recognize when remove-and-replace repairs are not necessary; offer a proprietary product for skin patches; purchase an infrared machine; stock up on adjustable manhole and catch basin risers; improve pavement edges; and offer pavement texturing.
