DRAFT-ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS ILLUSTRATED FOR THE HANDICAPPED

The draft-accessibility standards are the result of a year of research and analysis into the problems facing handicapped citizens and the lack of requirements for handicapped persons in public buildings. Examples are given for space requirements for manoeuvring wheelchairs, and improving site development, walks and sidewalks, surface texture, street crossings, parking places and kerbs. /TRRL/
