RFID Application in the Supply Chain
This paper analyzes the possibilities of and ways of utilizing radio frequency identification (RFID) as a tool for more effective supply and logistics chain management. The focus is on RFID technology as a means of automating logistics processes. The benefits and implications of RFID technology implementation in the supply chain are outlined and discussed.
