Study and Evaluation of the Split Ring-Road Traffic Flows
This paper presents a traffic model based on a feasibility study of the Split Ring-Road (Croatia) to forecast future traffic flows. A traffic survey was conducted at 15 locations. Results of this research indicate a travel matrix that contains 93,885 trips in the base year. Data analysis and trip distribution was performed by the package Visum. The traffic forecast was carried out for the period from 2001-2028 by the equal growth factor method. The output results were used for the economic evaluation of the project.
