Evidence of Seasonality in Airline Stock Returns
Investors in the airline industry have observed seasonal fluctuations in stock prices. Such fluctuations have been authenticated by studying buying and selling patterns over a ten-year period (1995-2005). The authors discuss these fluctuations and trend changes over time. Research methodologies and assumptions are presented.
