Keystone Corridor Clearance Evaluation and Potential Truck Diversion Study
The purpose of the study was to identify the feasibility and cost-benefit for obtaining railroad double stack vertical clearance along Amtrak's Keystone Corridor from Philadelphia, PA to Harrisburg, PA. The objectives of the study were to identify the double stack clearance restrictions, identify the possible engineering solutions to obtain double stack clearance and identify the costs and benefits for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of obtaining the double stack clearances.
