THE GUS HS TRAVEL PLAN STRATEGY

GUS Home Shopping (GUS HS) is moving approximately 900 staff from its previous location to new offices. The company's reason for the move was planned to support the following company aspirations: to establish a change in the company's business culture; to present an enhanced external image of a large, modern and successful business to customers, suppliers, employees, the group, the local community and others; to incorporate their vision of establishing a new HQ location in order to promote wider business activities. The company developed a Travel Plan Strategy (TPS) with a primary objective to ensure the smooth transition of employees from the existing site to the new offices. In the longer term, the TPS is expected to continue to maximize the opportunities for employees to travel by modes of transport other than car.
