2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Head-On into a 2004 Honda Accord EX
This article describes results of collision testing between a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 crashed head-on with a 2004 Honda Accord EX. The crash was a vehicle-into-stationary-vehicle impact test, sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration for Volpe National Transportation System Center, Incorporated. The aim of the research was to evaluate and compare vehicle-to-vehicle crash tests against crash tests into a rigid load cell barrier. Test procedures are detailed and results of the impact tests are summarized.
