2002 Toyota Tundra Head-On Into 2004 Honda Accord EX
This article desribes results of collision testing between a 2002 Toyota Tundra crashed head-on into a 2004 Honda Accord EX. The impact test was conducted at 60 mph, vehicle-into-stationary-vehicle, by the National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration for Volpe National Transportation System Center, Incorporated. The aim of the research was to evaluate and compare vehicle-to-vehicle crash tests against crash tests into a rigid load cell barrier. Test procedures are detailed and test results are summarized.
