A STUDY OF THE ECONOMICS OF ROAD VEHICLE LIMITS; SYSTEM CONCEPTS AND PROGRAMS

The primary objective of this technical report is to describe the computer system developed during the study. The computer system of models has provided the cone of the systems apporach to the whole problem, and covers most aspects of the investigation. Section 2 gives an outline of the concepts behind the design and operation of the computer system, including some explanation of the methods of job control on the CDC cyber computer used by the study team. Section 3 contains details of those computer programs required for processing of the study's data base, and therefore of most likely use in future. Section 4 contains details of all major programs used by the study for analysis and evaluation, while section 5 contains brief details of all other computer programs written during the study.
