Estimation of Expected Cargo Oil Outflow From Tanker Involved in Casualty
In this paper, the authors present a modified version of a simplified probabilistic methodology designed for estimating the expected cargo oil outflow from a tanker involved in an accident. This particular methodology is considered to be very useful in situations where only a very limited mount of initial data is available regarding the incident and tanker design. The objective of the research was to ensure that the proposed methodology would be applicable to the specifics of Lithuanian ports.
