Efficient Methods for Evaluating the Effective Carrying Capacity of Railroad Network System
In the paper, the new concepts of total carrying capacity, total effective carrying capacity and potential capacity of railroad network are proposed. The optimal model of total effective carrying capacity on the concept of K-shortest path is proposed and GA solution is designed. The calculating methods for network capacity are given on the key point of effective capacity. Real instance with the developing software shows that the concepts and calculating methods of network capacity are feasible and promising for large scale practical using.
