SAFETY BELTS FOR VANS AND ANCHORAGE OF SAFETY BELTS

EQUIPEMENT DES CAMIONNETTES EN CEINTURES DE SECURITE ET EN ANCRAGES POUR CEINTURE DE SECURITE

This official text states that vans, e.g., vehicle with a total weight not exceeding 3,5 tonnes, put on the road after 1st October 1977, will have to be equipped with safety belts. The latter must conform to a type officially approved by the Ministry of the Equipment. The UTAC Laboratory, in Montlhery is the approved laboratory for the conduct of the tests described in this decree. /TRRL/
