MICRO MASTER -- THE CO-ORDINATION OF SMALL GROUPS OF INTERSECTIONS

The authors describe the pilot study made to evaluate the performance of the system and to coordinate three intersections. It is shown that the Micro-Master has the capability to coordinate up to eight intersections in the same fashion as can a minicomputer for 20 intersections, but at approximately 10 percent of the cost.
