FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF REINFORCED AND PRESTRESSED CONCRETE STRUCTURES

The paper is concerned with the finite element analysis of nonlinear deformation and ultimate load behavior of prestressed and reinforced concrete structures. In the first part, different constitutive models are presented to describe the nonlinear deformation and failure behavior of concrete and suited to solve incremental load-displacement relations by different numerical techniques. In the second part, an actual civil engineering problem is studied.
