CITIZEN PARTICIPATION IN THE TRANSPORTATION PLANNING PROCESS: A REVIEW

At all levels of government, people's desire to voice their opinions on issues that affect their environments and their lifestyles is being felt more and more. In fact, public involvement is rapidly becoming an intrinsic part of today's planning processes and must also be included in the transportation planning process.
