CHARACTERIZATION AND TREATMENT OF SANITARY EFFLUENTS FROM WATERCRAFTS: A BIBLIOGRAPHY WITH ABSTRACTS

This bibliography contains 260 abstracts on the characteristics and treatment of black and grey waters generated aboard small and large watercrafts. Included in this compilation are government publications, research studies, consultants' reports as well as articles appearing in scientific journals and trade magazines. Most of the entries stem from United States, Canadian and European sources. The names and addresses of 106 North American and European manufacturers and distributors of shipboard pollution control equipment are also appended. American and Canadian professional and trade associations concerned with pollution from vessels and the main Federal governmental agencies of these two countries involved in pollution abatement from marine crafts are also listed.
