Using IDAS as Part of the Ranking Process of ITS Deployment Alternatives
The decision to select between Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) deployment alternatives requires the evaluation and ranking of these alternatives relative to each other. This paper reports on a procedure developed to support the ranking of ITS deployment alternatives on Florida state roads. The procedure uses the ITS Deployment Analysis System (IDAS) program in combination with other processes to rank ITS deployment alternatives.
