The report contains the following chapters: testing of two electric cars, the field of electric cars 1974 - the current state and future prospects, the current state of world electric vehicle development, heating of electric vehicles, better batteries for electric vehicles, data on Piller-engine E76 30-110, rapid charging and forced charging of lead batteries, lifetime testing of batteries intended for the operation of electric vehicles Willard ESB LEV 115, Varta 1 800 V3 and Varta M 750 V3. The results show that it is possible to design an electric car with a maximum speed of 70 km/h and an operating range of 50 km, acceleration performance was poor due to insufficient adjustment between motor and battery, the battery test showed that it is possible in practical operation to obtain a battery lifetime of 500 cycles, which is considered the minimum for commercial use. As a result of the project a measuring platform for comparison tests of electric vehicles and components of electric vehicles was designed. /TRRL/
