Strength characteristics of compacted cement-treated soils

Standard compaction and unconfined compression tests are performed on two inorganic soils and on their cement-treated mixtures at selected cement contents and with different curing conditions. This paper discusses the opposite water affinities of the various mixtures, the minimum percentages of added cement to attain a prescribed compressive strength, and the rate of the development with time of early-measured strengths.
