Design and Realization of an Improved Traffic Emergency Handling System

The quick and comprehensive treatments of emergent traffic incidents could largely reduce the probabilities of traffic jams and sequent incidents. The emergency handling system proposed here can realize incident detection through multiple channels, comprehensive handling aid and interaction with other subsystems with guidance information. In this paper, the main advantages of this system are firstly summarized and then system design, including incident type definition, functional modules and system frame analysis, is presented. Finally, the system realization is demonstrated.
