Analysis of Incident Information: Transmission Performance of Space Division IVC System
Recently, researches of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) are being widely made in order to improve social problems caused by vehicular traffic. In this paper, a scheme to acquire a PN (Pseudo Noise) code off or going vehicle for the IVC(Inter-Vehicle Communication) system so as to avoid fatal traffic accidents on the express way is discussed. The PN code used by the following vehicle is determined according to the PN code used by the foregoing vehicle. Moreover, influence of near-far problem and influence of interference from the other communications are reduced by using a directional antenna for transmission. A simulator was developed and performance was evaluated in order to show the advantages of the proposed scheme. As the result, good performance was confirmed for the application of incident information transmission.
