TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS EVALUATION

The principal purpose of this book is to present a detailed treatment of the alternative evaluation techniques for transportation-system strategies. While we have discussed the techniques in the context of transportation, the evaluation proceudres are equally relevant for many other public sector decisions, such as in water resources, education, and fire protection. The book focuses on two principal procedures--economic evaluation and cost-effectiveness evaluation. /GMRL/
