INCREASING MOTOR CARRIER PRODUCTIVITY: AN EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS

The basic thrust of this empirical investigation of the many problems associated with various state motor-carrier restrictive covenants was focused upon carrier productivity. Because of certain institutional constraints, increasing state maximum weights and lengths to the standards prescribed by the federal government appears to be the optimal method for increasing carrier productivity. /GMRL/
